This is it, the time when the lake comes into its own, as we
embrace spring and the warm weather here at beautiful Smith
Mountain Lake!
This is a special year for all of us who love our lake, as it marks the
50th Anniversary (March 7th) of the lake reaching “full pond” for
the very first time. Be sure to check the calendar in the back of
this issue for a schedule of all of this year’s events!
As usual, we have a little bit of something for everyone, including
a peek at the candidacy of long time lake resident and developer
Jim McKelvey, who has his eye on being our next representative
to Congress.
